María is an 18-year-old girl from Cuba. She lives in Havana with her parents and her younger brother. María is a student, and she goes to high school from Monday to Friday. Every morning, she wakes up early and has breakfast with her family. She usually drinks coffee and eats bread with butter. María likes music and dancing, and she often listens to Cuban music at home.

In the afternoon, María studies and does her homework. She helps her mother at home and sometimes plays with her brother. On weekends, she meets her friends and they walk around the city. María is a friendly and energetic girl, and she loves her country.

Today is different. María is not going to school because she is preparing for an important exam. She is sitting at her desk and she is studying history. Her brother is playing in the living room, and her parents are working. At the moment, María is listening to music while she is studying. She is feeling a little nervous, but she is doing her best.

Right now, María is thinking about her future. She wants to study medicine, and she is dreaming of helping people. While she is studying, she is imagining herself as a doctor. Even if she is studying now, María knows that every day she works hard to reach her dreams.
